Logan Paul’s podcast Impaulsive is one of the biggest shows in the world, clocking up millions of listens and views per episode.

The controversial YouTube vlogger turned boxer has shown once again that whatever he touches turns into gold 🤩

Logan Paul claims he spent $90,000 on his podcast studio before launching the show in 2018.

You’ve got to admit, the podcast looks and sounds great.

While spending that kind of money is out of the question for most podcasters, the core gear that Logan Paul uses is pretty standard.

You can get the microphone and headphones that Jake Paul uses for Impaulsive for just a few hundred dollars.

And if you really want to get fancy, you can splash out on a high-tech camera setup.

But if you’re just wanting to produce a great-sounding podcast, stick with the basics and build as you grow.

Just show me the gear

Don’t care about the details. Just want Logan Paul’s podcast gear? Check it out 👇

You’ll need to get various cables and interfaces to record high-quality audio (see below), but that’s the basic setup.

What microphone does Logan Paul use? — Shure SM7B

Logan Paul uses the Shure SM7B, pictured here, for Impaulsive.

The Shure SM7B is the holy grail of podcasting microphones, used by Joe Rogan, Russell Brand, Rich Roll and many more.

Shure know what they’re doing when it comes to creating microphones and the SM7B is designed for recording and broadcasting spoken voice.

It sounds silky smooth and crystal clear.

The only downside of the Shure SM7B is that it’s not a USB mic so you can’t just plug it into your laptop to record.

You’ll need to get a recording interface like the Zoom H6 6-Track Portable Recorder (used by Tim Ferriss and Rich Roll) to record the audio on your computer.

The other thing you need to know is the Shure SM7B is a purposefully quiet microphone. That’s so it doesn’t pick up all the annoying background noise.

However, that means you need to get a preamp to boost the microphone signal so that it records at a good volume. Most top podcasters use a Cloudlifter to do this.

This makes the Shure SM7B a little tricky for beginner podcasters, but if you can get it set up right, you won’t be disappointed.

What headphones does Logan Paul use? — Sennheiser HD 280 Pro

Logan Paul uses the gold standard of podcast microphones, the Sennheiser HD 280 Pros.

I get the feeling Logan Paul just looked at the gear that the great Joe Rogan was using and said to his people, “Get me that!”

These headphones are used by the who’s who of the podcasting world, including Rogan and Russell Brand.

They are super spongy and comfortable, they look great, and they sound even better.

They come with a standard 3.5mm jack, so you can plug them straight into your computer.

If podcast hosts who have millions of dollars (Rogan and Paul) use these headphones when they could buy any headphones they wanted, it’s a good sign.

These cost less than $100. What are you waiting for?

What microphone stand does Logan Paul use? — Gator Frameworks Short Weighted Base

Gator Frameworks make great mic stands.

Logan Paul uses their short weighted base microphone stand which sits on top of the desk.

This is the alternative to using a desk-mounted microphone stand that you can swivel around.

The Gator Frameworks Short Weighted Base Microphone Stand is a high-quality, stable, durable stand that gets the microphone right in your face without taking up too much space.

What computer does Logan Paul use? — MacBook Pro 16-inch

When you spend $90,000 on a podcast studio, you get the biggest, baddest, bestest MacBook out there.

You don’t need me to explain why this MacBook is awesome.

If you want it, go get it.

Not gonna lie, there are a few affiliate links in this article. Think of it this way, if you buy some of Logan Paul’s gear you’ll be taking a tiny amount of Jeff Bezos’ (the guy who owns Amazon) money and giving it to me. You’re pretty much Robin Hood. A modern-day hero. I, for one, salute you 🖖
